IITGN Jobs Details Applications are invited for the position of “Research Associate” to work on public health research conducted at the Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar. The details of the research and the aforementioned position are as follows: Name of Post: Research Associate (RA) Education Eligibility Essential: Ph.D/MD/MS/MDS or equivalent degree or having 3 years of research, teaching and design and development experience after MVSc/M.Pharm/ME/M.Tech with at least one research paper in Science Citation lndexed (SCI) journal. A PhD (or master’s degree plus 3 years experience) in public health/health management/hospital administration/information technology/other relevant area is preferred. Fluency in Hindi and English is required. Preferred: A post graduate degree in health-related discipline with experience in: use of technology to collect field-based data; working with healthcare providers; working with patients of diabetes or cardiovascular disease or any other chronic condition; household survey data collection; working with large datasets; familiarity with using data management software; conducting statistical analysis of epidemiological data using STATA or similar software; and writing research proposals. Fluency in Gujarati and/or any other Indian language would be a great strength. Terms: Appointment is for one year with the possibility of renewing for an additional year depending on performance.
