GPSC NEW Exam Pattern & Syllabus 2014

About new vacancy-changes in GPSC Examination method

NEW GPSC Changed Syllabus and Pattern are given below
  • Competitive Exam will be taken in Gujarati and English both medium.
  • Age limit increase 2 years from 28 to 30.
  • Preliminary Exam content will be objective type which include oral exam(150 Marks), Test of reasoning(150 Marks), and General knowledge(200 Marks).
  • For Vacant Seats candidate will be selected from Preliminary Exam
  • Main exam will have 5 subjects which are Gujarati(200 Marks), English(100), optional subject(200 Marks), long questions and general knowledge 1 and 2 objective types(200-200 Marks).
  • General knowledge-1 includes culture and Indian , normal economical matters, public , services of state government subjects.
  • General knowledge-2 includes current affairs, sociology, and science and technology and also .
  • This type of interview was for 100 Marks.blind candidates will get 20 minutes more in objective exam and 30 minutes more in long questions.

Note:
  • The Syllabus for the entire three question papers shall be such as may be Prescribed and notified by the commission.
  • The Slandered and the Course Content of the syllabus of paper 1 shall be of twelfth standard of Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board.
  • The Standard and the Course Content of the syllabus of General Study’s paper shall be of a Degree level.
  • The question Paper shall be of the Objective type (Multiple choice questions)
  • The Blind Candidates may be allowed an extra time of fifteens minutes for paper I to II and Twenty minutes for paper III.

  • The standards and the Course Content of the syllabus  for General Study’s Paper and Optional Subject shall be of a Degree Level.
  • The syllabus of each of the paper shall be such as may be Prescribed and notified by the commission.
  • The question papers of paper I to III for the examination shall be of conventional type and paper IV and V shall be of objective type.
  • The blind candidates may be allowed an extra time of thirty minutes for paper I to III and twenty minutes for paper IV and V.

    I am a student of cbse board studied in kv school and I am not able to write gujarati but I can read it properly so can go for this gpsc exam? I am gujarati but some above mentioned circumstances I am not able to write gujarati. Please give me your valuable suggestion.
